Shapers
We take a bit of a different approach to surf craft. We believe that it is far more than just a board, hand-plane, or log - it is a rideable piece of art ~ handmade using traditional shaping methods and with a soul nurtured by the artist.
Corduroy features only a handful of shapers at a time ~ presenting independent shapers and their craft in a gallery setting. Our audience not only learn about the shapes, designs, and rideablility ~ but also learn the history behind each board and the story behind each shaper.
We are also proud to support Maine shapers and to instill a sense of both community and local sustainability within our local surf landscape.
